
Beatriz “Bea” Martinez is a dedicated community leader with a strong passion for service, youth development, and empowering others. She brings years of experience in community engagement, organizational leadership, and volunteerism. Bea is known for her ability to build relationships, organize impactful programs, and inspire collaboration across diverse groups.
Throughout the years, Bea has demonstrated a strong commitment to community involvement and leadership through active participation in numerous organizations. She served on the Catholic Charities Board for approximately 8 years representing St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she helped support programs that strengthen families and individuals in need. For about ten years, she coached select volleyball teams through the Sun Country and the Elite programs, mentoring young athletes and promoting teamwork and discipline. She also served on the Sun Country Volleyball board for two years. In addition, Bea served on the Odessa Youth Baseball Association as well as President of the South Odessa Little League for four years, working to improve programs and participation for local youth. She previously served on the Odessa Women’s Softball League Board for two years. She has been a proud member of the Asociacion Guadalupana at St. Joseph Catholic Church for over 20 years. Bea currently serves as a board member for BL3S Squad, a non-profit organization focused on suicide awareness and prevention, supporting individuals and families through education, outreach, and community events.
Professionally, Bea is employed as an Account manager for Vitalant, where she coordinates community blood drives and develops partnerships that help save lives through blood donation. Her role allows her to connect with schools, businesses, and organizations through the region, promoting awareness and engagement in a mission that directly benefits the community.
Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Bea finds her greatest joy in her family. She is the proud mother of two daughters, Giovani Marie Delgado and Abigail Isabela Del Bosque, and stepmother to Jesse, Isaac and Christopher Del Bosque. She cherishes time with her family and especially loves being “grandma” to her wonderful grandchildren.
In her free time, Bea enjoys playing volleyball and softball, spending quality time with her family, working out and staying active in her community. She believes in the power of faith, teamwork, and service to create lasting change and continues to dedicate her time to making a positive impact in Odessa and the surrounding communities.
